Britney Spears has had to postpone two of her shows in Las Vegas after a dramatic fall on stage.
The star injured her ankle when she took a nasty tumble during her performance on Wednesday evening as part of her Piece of Me residency.
On advice from her doctor, the star has cancelled her shows this weekend, on May 1 and 2 at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, and both are set to be rescheduled.
The singer made the announcement with Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino and Live Nation in a joint statement, and said she has cancelled so she can "heal" her ankle.
It came after the star followed in Madonna's misplaced footsteps after falling over on stage.
The pop princess slipped and appeared to twist her ankle while dancing in a video of the painful accident.
The star was singing her 1999 tune (You Drive Me) Crazy when she lost her footing and hit the deck, and she seemed to be limping as her dancers helped her to her feet.
Ever the pro, Britney didn't miss a beat - and she has since taken to Twitter to reassure worried fans that she's doing OK after the "little scare".
