Sex attacker of Oxford girl who launched online petition to shame him is pictured for first time

This is the first picture of the teenager who sexually assaulted a student before she launched an online petition to shame him.
Oxford University student Ione Wells, 20, spoke out about the attack outside her home in Camden, north London, as she launched a #NotGuilty campaign saying assaults are never the fault of the victim.

She bravely waived her right to anonymity to publish the article in the university's Cherwell student newspaper, in which she said she was assaulted as she walked home from an underground station in London in the early hours of April 11.
Today, the undergraduate’s attacker can be revealed as a 17-year-old who is still attending college while awaiting sentencing.
The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was caught when police saw him on CCTV following another woman shortly after attacking Miss Wells.

When approached for a comment, the teenager told the Daily Mail, "I’m going to call the police on you," before running away.
The student, who is out on bail, pleaded guilty to sexual assault and is due to be sentenced next week.
The teenager lives with his large Somali family in a council flat in a tower block in Camden, London, which is not far from the scene of the assault.
The family are believed to have moved to the country more than ten years ago.
Miss Wells said she is considering coming face-to-face with him in court to have a "powerful impact" on him.
She revealed yesterday that it took her 15 minutes to pen the inspiring piece, entitled A Letter to my Assaulter.
"It came naturally and was a way to order that craze of emotions," Miss Wells told the Daily Mail.
The student, who is reading English at Keble College, said the main reason behind her letter was to launch a campaign for people "who feel afraid to speak".
