A man had a miraculous escape when the wall of a house collapsed on top of him as he sat inside his car.
Paramedics treated Brian Loveridge, who is in his 60s, for just a small head injury after part of the wall crashed down on his car while it was parked on the driveway.
Brick, rubble and debris crushed the car and another vehicle, after falling 20ft to the drive below.
The wall was part of a neighbour's property and collapsed onto the shared driveway, where Brian was sat in his car.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said it was a miracle that Brian, who was able to get out of the wreckage unaided, escaped more serious injury at the scene in Richmond Hill, Oldbury, West Midlands.
A spokeswoman said: "When ambulance staff arrived they found a badly-damaged car covered in bricks parked on a driveway in between two houses.
"The second storey outside wall of the neighbouring house had collapsed on to the car whilst a man was sitting inside."
The spokesman added: "Much to the amazement of ambulance staff, the man who had been in the car was out of the vehicle.
