The Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted to hospital in labour.
Now all eyes will be on the doors of the Lindo Wing maternity ward as the public waits for news of a new little prince or princess.
The world's media is camped outside with reporters, photographers and camera crews from as far afield as Australia and Japan waiting to hear the tot has been delivered safely.
An announcement issued by Kensington Palace via email and Twitter said: "The Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted to St Mary's Hospital in the early stages of labour.
"Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was admitted at 06.00hrs to St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London and is in the early stages of labour.
"The Duchess travelled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge."
She is being looked after by the same team who delivered Prince George in July 2013 led by royal obstetrician Guy Thorpe-Beeston and including Surgeon gynaecologist Alan Farthing.
If it's a boy top choices include James, Arthur, Louis and Philip.
