Liverpool double murder: Victims named locally as mother and daughter Sarah and Bernadette Fox

The victims of a double murder on Merseyside have been named locally as a mother and daughter.

Police were called to Worcester Road at about 9.15pm on Thursday where the body of Sarah, who is thought to be 27, was found with multiple injuries.
The second victim, believed to be her mum, was found in a residential home on Brookhill Road on Friday morning.
The force was called to Worcester Road after a member of the public reported a concern for safety.
One neighbour said: “I saw one of my neighbours in the street who said he was worried after he noticed the dog from the flat roaming the streets, he had seen it a few times so he knocked on the door but got no answer.
“He called to the house last night and noticed there was a downstairs window open and the back door was ajar.
“He called the police at around 9, and got a call at 2am this morning from the Police saying they needed to speak to him.
“It’s so shocking.
"I’ve spoken to the girl from those flats before two or three times, she seemed a nice girl.
