Eye-popping moment low-flying Typhoon glides metres above stunned father and son

An incredible video has emerged online of the moment a father and son stood just metres below two enormous Typhoon fighter aircraft as they came in to land.

William Bird, 41, captured the jaw-dropping footage on his GoPro camera as he was planespotting with his seven-year-old stepson Alex at the RAF Lossiemouth air station in Moray, Scotland.
The clip, thought to be filmed on April 14, shows the multi-million pound jets approaching the base, blasting onlookers with their powerful jet wash.

A second plane can then be seen coming into land, this time knocking the camera over with the force of the engine thrust.
William, who posted the clip to his Facebook page, told Deadline News that he was "as close to the action as you could get."
He added: "I wasn't really sure what I would get but it was fantastic watching the video back.
