Instead of ignoring the homeless woman who slept on his street, one man decided to change her life for the better.
Using discarded materials, Elvis built a miniature house for Smokie - a 60-year-old homeless woman who had been sleeping in the dirt.
The two became friends after Smokie knocked on Elvis' door to ask if he had any recyclable material she could get rid of for him (in Los Angeles, where the pair are from, the public get money in return for recycling their goods).
Elvis had seen a story about a man in a different city who had used discarded materials to build a tiny house, so he decided to do the same thing.
The house is built on wheels, so it can be moved every 72 hours, which keeps local police officers happy and means Smokie doesn't get any hassle.
But it doesn't stop there, he also gave her a mobile phone so she can get in contact with him when he needs to.
