A man has appeared in court accused of the murder of a woman whose dismembered body was discovered in a flat above a beauty salon
Christopher Nathan May, 50, appeared in front of magistrates in Merthyr Tydfil this morning.
He spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth during the two-minute hearing and has not yet entered a plea.
He is accused of murdering 47-year-old Tracey Woodford, whose dismembered body was discovered at a house in Pontypridd on Friday afternoon.
Magistrates sent his case to crown court, reports Wales Online.
He is due to appear before Merthyr Tydfil crown court, sitting in Cardiff, on Tuesday morning.
