She got engaged to hunky Taylor Kinney on Valentine's Day so it's not surprising that Lady Gaga wanted to sing it from the rooftops.
The 28-year-old singer proudly displayed her heart-shaped diamond engagement ring via Instagram on Monday but since then she has kept it firmly under wraps.
And as she jetted in to LAX on Tuesday, Gaga was clearly in a wedding frame of mind, stepping off the plane in bridal white, although the style of her outfit wasn't exactly what one would get married in.
Gaga displayed her slim figure in a white miniskirt and matching cropped top, giving a flash of her midriff.
She paired the look with silver heels, a long blonde wig and a huge pair of sunglasses.
While the singer kept her left hand, with the huge engagement ring, in her pocket, there was no hiding her huge smile as she looks forward to marriage with the hunky Chicago Fire actor.
There was no sign of Taylor, 33, as Gaga arrived at LAX, although no doubt the pair will attend the Oscars together on Sunday, after Gaga was asked to perform.
It is not clear exactly what Gaga will be singing but producer Craig Zadan tweeted that she will be involved in a 'a very special performance.'
'Lady Gaga is a once in a lifetime artist who's musical evolution keeps growing. We are proud to have her perform on the Oscars for the very first time,' Zadan and Neil Meron said in a statement.
Meanwhile, earlier on Tuesday Gaga was pictured at JFK airport in New York after agreeing to marry her 33-year-old boyfriend.
Accompanied by her bodyguard, the diminutive singer appeared to be a little coy about her new accessory, hiding the rock under the sleeve of her coat.
